Once again, I’m glad to announce that the time has arrived for all members to do their part for the next generation. Our organization encourages parents, grandparents, and guardians to sponsor their graduating seniors for a $500 scholarship through our postmaster organization.
There are three scholarships available, two through the active members and one through the retirees. These scholarships are open to graduating seniors who will be attending a university, college, or trade school this coming fall. All applicants must be sponsored members to be eligible.
Applications are attached and can be found online or in a recent copy of Show Me. Please follow the directions correctly and mail according to the date listed on the application.
To ensure impartiality, no member will be judging the applications. An outside panel of judges is utilized to analyze all applications and then determine the most qualified.
I encourage all eligible seniors to apply, and remember to read and follow all rules printed on the application.
